Responsible Conduct of Research
Within 1 year of their appointment, all postdoctoral scholars must provide to the Office of Postdoctoral Services verification of having completed an approved educational program in responsible conduct of research (RCR).
- MICR 510 Scientific Integrity (a 1-credit course offered each Fall through the Department of Microbiology & Immunology)
- Workshop in Responsible Conduct of Research (3 hour training offered periodically to postdoctoral scholars through the Office of the Vice President for Research)
- Responsible Conduct of Research Workshop for VCU Postdoctorals, Residents and Fellows
Research Subjects Protection Short Courses
The short courses found on this page are intended to provide a foundation for training in the responsible conduct of research for researchers who do not use human or animal subjects. Please note that the information contained herein does not meet the IRB or IACUC training requirements for human subjects or animal subjects use. If you use human subjects, click here for information on required education. If you use animal subjects in your research, click here for training requirements.
