The National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation mandate training in responsible conduct of research for trainees receiving funding through these sources.VCU also requires that within 1 year of their appointment, all postdoctoral scholars must completed an approved educational program in responsible conduct of research. VCU offers many courses that fulfill these requirements. Some of these courses are delivered as a mix of online and in person (designated as hybrid). Postdoctoral Scholars
VCU requires that within one year of their appointment, all postdoctoral scholars must provide to the Office of Postdoctoral Services verification of having completed an approved educational program in responsible conduct of research. Approved courses are listed here.
