Working with OSP
This session will give an overview for working with the Office of Sponsored Programs, including a discussion on team assignments and the proposal routing, review and submission process.

VCUeRA
The Office of Research uses VCUeRA (VCU electronic Research Administration) for the electronic submission of proposals to NIH utilizing Grants.Gov. This class will give you details about the electronic submission process including how to prepare your proposal for electronic submission, how to create your budget within the VCUeRA system, and the electronic approval process. This class is required for the electronic submission of the following mechanisms to NIH: R01, R13, R15, R18, R21, R25, R33, R34, R36, S10, U13, U18, X01, X02, K and F mechanisms.

InfoEd Navigation Training
This class is a demonstration of how to use the information recorded in InfoEd to manage proposals and awards within a school and/or department. The class is designed for anyone assisting faculty in proposal preparation and anyone involved in the fiscal management of awards.

VCUeRA 2.0
This class will provide instruction and discussion on how to deal with more advanced topics in VCUeRA proposal creation, including subcontracts, subprojects, and summer appointment calculations. This class is intended for administrators and faculty who have already had the required training, "NIH Submissions to Grants.gov using the VCUeRA," have proposal creation experience, but would like more detailed guidance on the proposal creation process and VCUeRA. Requirements: NIH Submissions to Grants.gov using the VCUeRA; proposal creation experience.

Grants.gov Adobe Forms
This class will present an overview for using the proposal Adobe form sets available through Grants.gov. This class will focus on the use of these forms for non-NIH federal sponsors.

FastLane Introduction
This introductory session offers hands on instruction on creating proposals in FastLane, the National Science Foundation's electronic proposal submission system.

Unraveling the Mysteries of Reviewers' Comments
Reviewers' comments are essential to improving your proposal and resubmitting. However, they often can be difficult to interpret. A panel of agency reviewers and successfully-funded researchers will provide tips on how to understand and effectively respond to grant reviewers' comments in order to produce winning resubmissions.
