Show Me the Money
This workshop will focus on electronic resources that can be used to search for grants from private foundations, government agencies, and other organizations. We will discuss and demonstrate the various web-based funding opportunities databases currently available, how to develop search strategies, and how to establish email alerts for new grant announcements. This workshop will also give an overview to individuals and offices at VCU that can assist them in locating grant opportunities. This session is designed primarily for researchers who are new to the grant seeking process.

Guided Grant Funding Searches
Looking for research funding? The Office of Research offers individualized, guided grant searches of Federal and private sources on from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hunton Student Center, Room 209 on the first Tuesday of every month and 809 South Cathedral Place, Room 102 on the third Monday of every month. Appointments are required, and usually last about 1 hour. For more information or to make an appointment, email Jessica Venable at jcvenable@vcu.edu and attach a lay-language summary of your research areas.
