Submissions at VCU
There are three main proposal routing “paths”(based on Submission Type) to initiate Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) review and submission. The paths are described below. Click on the link for each path to view a depiction of the process.
“Path One”: Hard Copy (paper) Proposal Submission
- Paper copy of signed IAF and full copy of sponsor required proposal package including a line item budget is delivered to OSP. "COI Investigators" designated on IAF complete FCOI reporting in AIRS. Request an Advance PT Number.
“Path Two”: VCUeRA Electronic Proposal Submission
- Electronic proposal and IAF routed and electronically delivered to OSP as a unified package. "COI Investigators" designated on IAF complete FCOI reporting in AIRS.
“Path Three”: non-VCUeRA Electronic Proposal Submission
- Finalized electronic proposal, signed IAF, and internal budget are “delivered” to OSP at dirospa@vcu.edu using VCU FileDrop - please include the following subject line: (PI Name, Sponsor Name) Electronic Application is Ready for Review and Approval. “COI Investigators” designated on IAF complete FCOI reporting in AIRS. Request an Advance PT Number.
